We use hyperbole to express our feelings. We cannot express exactly how we are feeling without hyperbole. We hear hyperbolic words and sentences like I am so tired that I could sleep one year. To express the feeling of workload, it is not enough to use only “so tired” word. How much tired? I need to sleep for one year. It is not reality. Who sleeps the whole year?? It is an overstatement.
