Outline. 

I do (mini lesson): Teach vocabulary words to write sentences. 

We do (group work): Watch a video, pause, and ask WH questions to check comprehension.

You do (independent work): Workbook- Just a moment Page_.

Exit ticket (Quiz-DOK): WH question – IEP goal.

Self-assessment: Forum (I learn that______).

Mini-Lesson (5 minutes)

Opening: Where were you yesterday? How did you spend your time? What did you learn? (I was in Queens, New York. I saw many friends. I enjoyed cultural show.)

Group Work (20 minutes): Read together and write lines that rhyme. For example, I left the house when I saw a mouse.

Independent Work (15 minutes)

You Do: Just a Moment. Page #1-4.

  • Complete worksheets with multiple choice and word bank support. 
  • Paraprofessionals assist students in utilizing voice-over / text-to-speech tools to complete Independent work. 

Exit Ticket (5 minutes)

  • Ask students a higher-order thinking question (DOK 2-3, WH).
  • How you repurpose plastic bottle to save river ecosystem from pollution.
  • How to write a poem with two lines of sentences.

Assessment

Navigate FORUM independently to post comments, “I have learned that_____.”
