The story unfolds a year after Van Gogh’s tragic death. Joseph, the postman of Arles and a close confidant of Van Gogh, entrusts his son, Armand, with a poignant mission: to deliver Vincent’s final letter to his brother, Theo. In 1891, six months after Vincent’s passing, Armand locates Theo, only for tragedy to strike again—upon reading the letter, Theo succumbs to his demise.

Devastated and mystified by the letter’s dark shadow, Joseph locks it away in a sindhuk (locker), sealing its secrets from the world. Decades later, the long-forgotten ark is opened by a curious researcher. As Joseph passes the letter to Rabi, the researcher, he is flooded with memories of his cherished friend Van Gogh and the turbulent final days they shared.

The narrative intertwines mystery, loss, and the haunting legacy of art and connection, leaving the letter’s true meaning to unfold through Rabi’s discovery.
