Songs of Nature

It was 2019 when I was working as a substitute teacher with the New York City Department of Education. I use to work on poems to fit into the rhythm for the lesson. The first two lines “Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people” came along with a melody in my mind while teaching a class of high school students on the subject of climate change. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people. One of my students wanted to help with vocal but the pandemic. The pandemic came and we were locked down. The rest of the lines came later in locked down.

It is a poem on the subject of climate change. Humans are destroying the balance in nature. It affects animals and deforestation. It affects pollution and the temperature of the world rise. The North Pole has got melting ice, as consequence water turns to waves of the flood. The climate song is a lesson on tree plantation and reduce pollution and reduce global warming. It was love, it was a favor, it was a truth, My faith forever. It was a pleasure, it was a trap, it was a flavor, I felt original.

This is the love, this is the favor, this is the truth, my faith forever. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people. North Pole hot melting ice, ice turns to water; Plantation reduces pollution, reduce temperature. Plants and trees cleaning the air and saving the atmosphere, Por favor, work together breathe in clean air. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people. This is the love, this is the favor, this is the truth, my faith forever. This is the love, this is the truth, this is the favor, my faith forever. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people.

God lives in people’s dreams in the city’s sky and in the air; what god does, takes care of us, saves the atmosphere. God sings in peoples’ brain – zero-carbon future. Reduce waste, clean up after, let live dying river. This is the love, this is the favor, this is the truth, my faith forever. This is the love, this is the truth, this is the favor, my faith forever. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people.

Global warming climate change what price we’ll pay; water rising sea-level high oxygen away. God forbid what do we need if oxygen away! Reduce waste reuse plastic recover climate. This is the love, this is the truth, this is the favor, my faith forever. Reduce, reuse, recycle; people care for people. When you come to see me dear friend, all my life I am falling behind the lane. The Chatoko bird stays awake all night long; the black moon shines on the great expectations. I cannot sleep, you hold me tight in the high, I will stay with you all day and night. The lightning hides in the cloud, when I look it cannot be found, I cannot see you in dollar and pound, win me a lotto of mega million?
